Peter has selected the Border Terrier as our Senior Citizen's Breed.

After encouragement from Emer Mooney in Eire, (breeder of Borders & our IWS Grand Ch Yehudi of Currabell, & Ch Currabell Hedgehog Fir), Pete's honorary IWS arrived adding further chaos to our lives!

She spent quite some time using Ciara's coat as dental floss. Ciara, whose headpiece is now somewhat short, lacks length of ear feathering, & has interesting coat patterning about the hocks! Her other mate is the St Poodle Rommey. About the same age, she met the challenge to cope with his ever-rising height.

We are now adept at ring hopping twixt Groups 2 & 3. At shows, Shirley displays great focus for the job at hand. For this, she has been duly awarded.

Retriever extraordinaire, Shirl has appointed herself pick-up dog for the IWSs' ball games. A determined hunter with a nose worthy of any working Terrier, she displays the essential breed characteristics. The pocket-rocket is extremely agile & jolly fast.

Kari Harding qualified for the Pedigree Junior Showmanship finals handling the little girl to perfection. James Sheekey placed 2nd. under Tabitha Buckley at the Pedigree Autumn International. Congratulations to both young adults.

The introduction of a Terrier to the family has been a whole new learning curve. Initially Shirl was alternatively amusing, adorable & frustrating. Frustration has waned as this highly intelligent little dog continues to win our admiration.
We are sure that this is just the start of another great adventure in the dog world!
